Superb original art from the best JUDGE DREDD Annual, published for 1982 (It was actually produced in 1981 and dated for the following year, as they were sold at Christmas time as gifts!)
Wonderful 'Fattie' sequence featuring 'Bub' an Otto Sump 'FLAB ON!' junkie! This really is as good as Judge Dredd art gets! Mick mcMahon was producing his most famous Dredd art in 1981-1982.
As 2000ad was a relatively new comic, IPC gave them a bigger budget for the first 3 years of their annuals, and the work produced was the finest in the Comics history (IPC had a 5 year reprint rule at that point so approved the higher budget for new art for the annual features).
