This is the tryout page that a twenty year old Kevin O'Neill did in 1973 for IPC Comics planned (but still born) CAPTAIN BRITAIN weekly comic, while he was working as an office junior. O'Neill went on to become famous at IPC's 2000ad comic, and then of course achieved international stardom with Alan Moore with 'League of extraordinary Gentleman', but this is undoubtedly his earliest tryout drawing Superheroes! His pencils are still visible, and you can see where he's trying out poses and shapes. 35 X 52 cm. 750.00 pounds
